Traffic Sources Postbacks

Postback tracking is usually the best option for implementing a highly accurate tracking solution for your campaign.

In order to send conversions back to your traffic source, follow the next 3 steps:

1. Ensure  the Click ID macro/token is added to your traffic source’s unique tracking

Example:

http://traffic.focuusing.com/process?destination=290286&campaign=33333&traffic_source=96667&click_id={Traffic_Source_Click_ID}

2. Get the postback URL from your traffic source and set your click ID macro to your traffic source click_ID macro/token

Example:

http://admin.example.com/conversion.aspx?clickid={Publisher_Click_Id}

3. Implement the postback as Global or Local

In the case of a global postback, you should add it in your traffic source settings.

In the case where your traffic source has different postbacks for each campaign, make sure to add the unique postback per destination in the Destination screen, under Destination Events.
